Finding Full Text via LibKey Nomad

LibKey Nomad is a browser extension that can help you find full-text articles.  You may see remember seeing "LibKey Instant PDF" icons and links in the library databases and Google Scholar.  LibKey Nomad is even more helpful because it can link you to articles that you find on other websites, such as publishers' websites, Google Scholar, PubMed, Wikipedia, and more.

To install LibKey Nomad in your browser, follow these instructions.

  1. Go to this page and choose your browser.  LibKey Nomad is currently supported on Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Brave, and Vivaldi.
     
  2. You'll be taken to the browser extension store for your browser.  Follow the usual steps for installing an extension.
     
  3. After installation, this screen should pop up automatically and ask you to select your organization.  Click inside the "Expand to browse" box and type Stevenson, then select it from the list:

  4. After you select it, you'll see a confirmation message saying "Library Selection Saved!":

  5. As you're browsing the web, you'll see LibKey Nomad's "Download PDF" icon on sites where you have access to the content through Stevenson:

  6. You may see this "locating" message briefly:

  7. Your article will open in your browser:
