Reviews and Interviews

Before the web, newspapers and magazines were the main source of movie reviews. Newspapers still regularly review new films, as do magazines, though newpapers are a richer source.  They also interview actors, directors and other people in the film industry.

Film Review Annual  (REF PN 1995.F463) provides full-length newspaper and magazine reviews for films from 1980-2001.

The following sites cover reviews of both US and international films. Check the date a review originally appeared; some reviews may be of a DVD release rather than an original theatrical production.
