Creating a Link to Your Source
Often, if you've found an article that you think you want to use in your project, you need to save the link. You might need to send it to your professor or a classmate, save it so you can download the article later, or include it in your citation.
If that's the case, DO NOT copy the URL from your address bar! This link is not static; it includes information about the date and time you originally did your search (we refer to this as your "session"), the original search terms you entered (which may not be what you ended up searching for), and other information that won't help you get back to the article later:
To get a permanent link back to this article, click the arrow icon, which stands for "Share":
In the window that opens up, click "Create link":
In the window that opens up, copy the link or click the "Copy to clipboard" link:
You can now paste the link into an email or document.
