Renewing Items Online

If you have items checked out and would like to renew them, you can do so online without needing to come back to the library.  Follow these steps:

 

  1. Go to the library catalog and click the green "Log in to your account" link in the upper right corner.

  2. Sign in using your SU username and password:

  3. Once you're logged in, click the "User summary" link:

  4. The "Summary" section will show you all the items you currently have checked out.  If you have renewals remaining, click the box in the "Renew" column and then click the green "Renew" button:

  5. If the renewal is successful, the screen will show the message "Renewed!" in green:

If You're Unable to Renew Online

If you're unable to renew your item(s), there may be one or more issues going on:

You may have reached the renewal limit for an item.

Items borrowed via interlibrary loan from non-Stevenson libraries will not show up in the library catalog.

If you have any blocks on your account, you won't be able to renew items online.
