Finding Information Sources

In this section, you'll do some searching to see if you can find 2-3 sources that support your example topic:

Cities need more funding for mass transportation systems to improve the quality of life of citizens.

 

First, try searching in the Stevenson University Library databases on our homepage.  Some options include:

We also have the databases broken down by subject (check out the "All Subjects" dropdown box on this page).  If you didn't find anything in the first three databases, which categories could you try?  Which ones are most likely to contain information about your topic?

 

Next, try a search engine like Google, Bing, or Ecosia.  If you didn't find anything in those three search engines, where else could you look?  How would you find out about other websites or search engines to use?
