Stevenson University's license for CAS SciFinder-n (style as CAS SciFinderⁿ) now allows unlimited concurrent users. You do not have to wait until another user signs out to search the database.
If you encounter difficulty accessing CAS SciFinder-n, please contact the library. Let us know when (date and time) you had the problems.
Register
Each user must register for an account to use the web-based CAS SciFinder-n. To do this, you must be a faculty, staff, administrator, or currently enrolled student at Stevenson University. You must also have a valid SU email account.
Go to the registration form and complete all the required fields. You will receive an email confirming your user name and password. The email message will also contain a link to click to activate your account.
Once you have your account activated, you can access CAS SciFinder-n and sign in to begin your work.

To access CAS SciFinderⁿ from the library home page, click the blue Databases button. Scroll to the C section (for CAS SciFinder-n) or the S section (for SciFinder-n). You can also use the "Databases by Subject" dropdown and select "Chemistry," then click on CAS SciFinder-n.
Off-Campus Access
When you click the name CAS SciFinder-n from off-campus, you will see a login box. Log in using your SU user name and password. You will then be taken to the CAS SciFinder-n page where you will need to log into SciFinder with the username and password you created when you registered for your account.
