Lesson Plan Assignment

Pick a frame outcome from the InfoLit Frameworks and create an outline for 15 to 30 minute lesson.  You should create an outline of the lesson considering who the students are; what are the objectives for the class.  In preparing the lesson think about how you will engage the students in the lesson - how will you will get their attention and how you will involve the students in the lesson.

You should follow this basic outline:

• Students – who they are
• Outcomes
• Objectives – To know … To do
• Hook (motivation)
• Procedures
• Active student engagement
• What students will be able to do after the lesson
