Choosing a Topic

The easiest way to select a topic is if your instructor offers ideas to the class. Sometimes, you will find a research topic just by perusing your textbook. Other times, your best bet is to visit the Library or its website and use subject-specific encyclopedias or handbooks to locate background information on your propsed topic. These resources are available in print and electronic formats. See the box below:
