One thing that nursing students struggle with is figuring out how much to cite in their discussion board posts and assignments. Nursing students who have been working in this field for a while already know a lot about how to care for patients and may not realize that they need to cite those things. However, part of your job in an academic assignment is to show where you got the information and demonstrate that it's widely used and reliable, not just something that's done in one hospital or unit.
