Library databases include accurate, reputable information on a variety of topics, including science and biology. If your professor requires that you cite scholarly articles are sources, a database is one of the best places to find them.

OneSearch searches our library catalog for books and ebooks and many of our databases for articles. You can often find a large number of resources on many topics, including biology and controversial issues.
If you're having trouble narrowing down your results in OneSearch, try one of these databases. The majority of sources in these databases will be scholarly articles. Articles are best for providing a narrow focus on a certain topic, such as "Reactions of first-year biology majors to the dissection of mammals vs. invertebrates."
A comprehensive scholarly, multi-disciplinary full-text database, with more than 5,000 full-text journals. Useful for research in a broad range of studies.
Provides information and analysis on current, significant social, political, and cultural issues. Updated weekly to present multiple perspectives and arguments on each topic.
