All locations of the SU Library are closed. All in-person access to printing/scanning/copying, collections, study rooms, and librarian consultation is suspended. The library is coordinating its hours and access with the university. We will continue to update this page with the latest closure information.
Our live chat will be monitored throughout the day on weekdays. Evening and weekend online reference services are available via our AskUs submission form. Assistance is also available via text to 410-927-5026.
If you would like to arrange to work with a librarian at a specific time, you can use our Make a Research Appointment form.
Call the Greenspring Library at 443-334-2233. We are actively checking voicemails at this number. If you would like to schedule a phone call at a specific time, please make a research appointment and we'll arrange to call you.
You can email all the library staff members at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In-person circulation and print items, including books, print reserves, journals, DVDs, and Blu-Rays will not be available. You may place a hold request in the KOHA catalog and pick up your book on Wednesdays between 10am and 12pm at the Greensping Library. If you have items currently checked out, please keep them until the campus reopens. Late fines are not currently accruing on any overdue items, but replacement charges will still be assessed for any lost items. This information will be updated as the situation changes.
Accessing our online services from off-campus couldn’t be easier. Many of our services can be accessed online, including:
We are currently processing interlibrary loan requests for electronic articles and chapters from ebooks. If you need an electronic article or ebook chapter, submit your request as usual.
We are not currently processing requests for physical materials, including books and photocopies of articles, and are not sending out or returning physical interlibrary loans. If you have print ILL items out, please keep them for now. We do not expect you to travel to campus or send them back to us through the mail. If you get an overdue notice, email us at email@example.com so we can request a renewal from the library that owns it.
