Part 5: Investigating Your Topic : Home

Even with your topic narrowed, it is important to take the time to perform some initial research and ask yourself the following:

• Have I found enough to complete this assignment?
• Have I found enough to support my topic?
• Have I found enough of the right kind of sources?

If you have answered NO to any of these questions, it is time to look over your topic again.  Sometimes all it takes is to simply reword or adjust the topic a bit.  With a little practice, and a little patience, you can find the topic that is right for you.
