LibRA - Library Research Award

Information about the library research contest sponsored by the SU Library
  • Submissions are judged on the research process, including the scope and quality of resources used and their appropriateness to the project.  This is not a judgment or grade on the project itself, but rather on the research that went into creating it.
  • Submissions are evaluated by a team that includes librarians and faculty. Decisions of this team are final. 
  • The rubric below will be used in evaluating the submissions. The maximum possible score is 21.
  • In the event of a tie, the judging team reserves the right to either select multiple winners or use the work's overall quality of research as the deciding factor.

Finalists may be chosen as well.  The number of finalists will vary depending on the scores received.  Finalists will also be given the option to have their projects archived in the Stevenson Scholar Exchange.
